Prioritized Drug Label Warnings

Protect Patients by Providing the Most Important Drug Warnings First

First DataBank's Prioritized Label Warnings Module increases patient education options and minimizes adverse drug events by allowing a wide variety of drug warning labels to be presented in priority order. So patients see the most relevant drug warning information first.

Drug Label Warnings Priority Setting

The Prioritized Label Warnings Module sets label priorities based on the relative clinical importance of a drug product's strength, ingredients, dosage form, or route of administration. As a result, patients see the most relevant drug warning information first. Label priorities are further customized for specific individual ingredient sets. As a result, the order in which labels appear may vary from product to product.

Facilitating the Presentation of the Maximum Number of Drug Label Warnings

Practical space limitations on prescription bottles and other packaging allow a maximum of ten labels per package. Since the label codes appear on screen in priority order and the labels are printed in this order, the most important labels can be attached to the container. Any remaining labels can be discussed with the patient, or attached to patient-education materials.

Prioritized Drug Label Warnings Benefits
